• EC High Density Containment Cooling creates a flexible cooling circuit with modular intelligent airflow and control. Consisting of two hot swappable ultra efficient EC controlled fans with fully redundant dual power supply and capable of up to 30KW capacity per rack. The unit fits onto the top of the rack and is fully IP addressable with real time cooling capacity and is controlled by a pressure sensor which works in conjunction with the CRAC units to equalise pressure within the rack maximising cooling efficiency using the existing air supply. The fans automatically adjust in response to the load on equipment with the rack distributing the required cooling when and as required with the hot air being exhausted to return back to the CRAC units for optimal efficiency.
• Cold aisle containment solutions are a low cost way of achieving a targeted cooling solution for a problem medium/higher density row within the data centre. Consisting of high density polycarbonate sheets with high thermal insulation to enclose the row and polycarbonate sliding doors at each end for access. Cold air is directed into the enclosed space via floor grills and using a combination of infill panels to prevent cold air leakage around the equipment. This improves the efficiency of the CRAC unit resulting in lower energy costs and improved cooling to the racks.
