New Data Rack

Released in late December Argent has developed a new Data Rack consisting of the basic two channel frame, with side cable exit/entry points, for cable cross connects. It is 46RU in height with a 600 x 600mm base and the ability to mount 19” devices, either at the front or rear of the channels. The two channels are connected at the top by another channel with cable exit/entry points for cable routing.

The rack has a unique quick connect system that allows the addition of up to four 151mm wide vertical cable managers to be used, one on either side at the front/rear or both and a spillway at the top for additional cable management. The rack can also be bayed together, for multiple installations using the quick connect system, with vertical cable manager.

The 151mm vertical cable manager uses a system of polycarbonate fingers spaced at 1RU intervals, which line up with the marked rack units on the data rack for management of cable or fiber. The vertical manager is fitted with a clip on door that can be opened left or right and is removable.
